We here at Diabetes Living Today would like to make you aware that Kitty will not be on the air for several weeks. She will have surgery on Wednesday July 9, 2008, to repair an incisional hernia. Her surgery will be performed at Our Lady of Lourdes Health Care System in Camden, N.J. Transplant Surgeon Dr. Nasser I . Youssef will perform Kitty’s surgery. Kitty is hoping that she will be able to come home on the same day to start to recover.

Dr. Fallon will continue with the show each week with “Special Guest Co-host” filling in for Kitty. We ask you to please be patient and know that the website will be updated as soon as Kitty is feeling better. Kitty plays a major role in this website. Dr. Fallon will give updates weekly on her recovery. Listener’s are invited to call in with their questions and comments.
