Dr. Matthew S. Kane
Matthew S. Kane, M.D. is a private practice endocrinologist practicing in West Chester Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Ottawa Medical School in 1984. He is board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism. He completed his fellowship at Temple University in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. Kane’s present practice includes two physicians, two nurse practitioners, and a CDE/PA (Certified Diabetic Educator/Physician Assistant). He has been treating patients with Diabetes for twenty years. Dr. Kane has been lecturing on Diabetes to colleagues and the community since 1987. He is presently a speaker for many pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Kane has been married for twenty years. He has three children: a 17-year-old daughter and two sons ages 15 and 12. He enjoys playing golf with his children. He also enjoys coaching basketball and baseball with his sons.

Dr. Thomas I. Margolis
Dr. Thomas I. Margolis received his medical degree in 1989 from Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. He received honors on his thesis: “New Mid-Infrared Lasers for Vitreous Membrane Cutting and Sclerostomy.” Dr. Margolis is in a Private Group Practice located in Southern New Jersey. Foxman, Foxman & Margolis Associates, is limited to vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He currently is the Principle Investigator in several clinical trials. Dr. Brett T. Foxman
Dr. Brett Foxman is a specialist in diseases of the retina. His background includes college and medical school at Boston University with residency and retina fellowship training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute / UCLA Medical Center. He is currently the Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology at Shore Memorial Hospital. He is on the Board of Directors of the American Retina Foundation and a past board member of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS). He is also the current chairman of the annual ASRS Film Festival in which retina specialists from around the world present surgical and educational films related to retinal care. He is a co-author on numerous publications, a member of numerous professional societies and recipient of the ASRS Honor Award, Vitreous Society Honor Award and the Rhett Buckler Award.
Dr. Foxman has practiced in southern New Jersey since 1992. He and his associates have state-of-the-art facilities in Vineland, Northfield and Cape May Court House, New Jersey, which are devoted to care of retinal conditions including diabetic eye disease. This involves examinations, laser procedures, surgery and research of retinal problems. Thomas White, PharmD
Tom White serves as the Clinical Transplant Pharmacist at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He attended the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2008 and graduated with honors. Tom wrapped up his 6th year of student rotations at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and decided to stay on staff post grad as a staff pharmacist. He recently accepted the Clinical Transplant Pharmacist position in September 2008. Tom also has experience in retail pharmacy as well as drug research.
Tom’s current responsibilities as a transplant pharmacist include educating patients about their medication regimen, answering any medication-related questions patients might have, as well as drug-drug and drug-food interaction monitoring. He is able to perform these duties while patients are in-house or while they are outpatients at the transplant center.
Outside of practicing pharmacy, Tom enjoys rooting for his favorite Philadelphia sports teams as well as playing golf and playing his guitar.

Dr. David A. Laskin
Dr. Laskin is a practicing primary care clinician in Gloucester County, NJ, being board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He is the lead physician in a four doctor Internal Medicine practice and is an attending physician at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, New Jersey since 1982. He also serves as the medical director of the Transitional Care Unit, a 17 bed unit specializing in rehabilitation. He is one of only 2500 Certified Medical Directors in the country.
His interests in the field of medicine revolve around preventive health care, stressing proper nutrition, exercise, and being proactive about health. By practicing medicine “the old fashioned way,” where a doctor can really make a difference in someone’s life,
Dr. Laskin has been able to be quite active in his community and spend the necessary time with his patients in the office, as well as deliver educational seminars to help people stay healthy!
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Laskin is an avid cyclist, participating in the American Cancer Society and MS 150 bike rides annually. He has been happily married to his wife, Carol, and they have two college-aged daughters that bring them much joy! He wishes everyone a very happy and healthy New Year!

Dr. Ian Joffe, MD, FACC
Doctor Ian Joffe was born in South Africa. He attended Medical School at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa, graduating with honors in the clinical rotations. Following medical school, he did research at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. This research involved the effects of transplant drugs on bone and led to numerous publications. He then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at AlbertEinstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
His cardiology training followed at Harvard Medical School, at the Beth Israel MedicalCenter in Boston. Research at Beth Israel led to many publications and reviews in cardiology, including UpToDate, an online resource for medical students and doctors, and publications concerning diabetic heart disease.
Dr. Khandelwal received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Bronx, New York. He obtained his undergraduate degree from New York University, graduating Valedictorian. While attending there, he was a proud member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a National Honor Society for medicine and Phi Beta Kappa, an honor society that recognizes excellence in liberal arts and sciences. He then went on to complete his Residency and Fellowship at Harvard University and Columbia University. Dr. Khandelwal is certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Khandelwal is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and serves on a number of hospital advisory boards and committees. He has admitting privileges at numerous hospitals throughout the Delaware Valley.
Dr. Khandelwal has over 15 years of experience in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease with an approach that often can avoid surgery and spare limbs from amputation.
Dr. Khandelwal lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and three children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family.
