Dr. Denise M. Nachodsky

Dr. Nachodsky is a non-interventional cardiologist practicing in southern New Jersey. A native of Milwaukee, she received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin where she also completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency.  She relocated to New Hampshire where she spent three years as a fellow of cardiology at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and an instructor of clinical medicine at the Dartmouth Medical School. She has been an attending physician, clinical instructor for the University of Wisconsin Medical School and Physician Assistant Program, and Medical Director of Exercise Physiology at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center in Wisconsin. She has also been attending physician and clinical instructor at Deborah Heart and Lung Institute, Cardiology Fellowship D.O. Program. She is an attending physician at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center where she was the Medical Director of the Women and Heart Disease Program.

Her professional affiliations include being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the Women’s Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Society of Nuclear Medicine.

She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Disease, and is licensed in nuclear cardiology.

Her clinical interests include:  echocardiography, trans-esophageal cardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT.

Dr. Nachodsky has co-authored journal articles, medical textbook chapters, and abstracts. She has made numerous written presentations and speaking appearances, including professional symposiums, Atlantic County Woman, Camden County Woman, The Central Record of N.J., Ladies’ Home Journal, radio talk show appearances, Your Morning (CN-8 national cable news morning show), and local television.
