Peg Venuto

Peg was first diagnosed with diabetes in February 1981, as gestational, controlled by diet alone but only for a few months.  She became insulin dependent in January 1982.  There was a very strong family history of diabetes; 2 younger sisters (both juvenile) and both parents (very adult onset).  Having been in a family with 2 diabetic children Peg was very aware of the symptoms when they arose and, more or less, knew what had to be done to take care of her disease.

Peg has been using the CGM since September 1, 2010.

Peg has lived in NJ for almost 47 years; She is a legal secretary/legal assistant and has worked for the same attorney for the past 46 years.  She also a licensed real estate salesperson although she has never been actively involved in the sale or purchase of real estate except in connection with her job as a legal secretary/legal assistant.
